Salvation is God's free gift to humanity, available to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through good works, religious rituals, or moral living - it comes only through faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. This is the Good News of the Gospel.

The first step to salvation is recognizing that we are all sinners who fall short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God and makes it impossible for us to earn our way to heaven through good works alone.

Sin has a penalty - spiritual death and eternal separation from God. Without God's intervention, we would all face this judgment. But God loves us too much to leave us in this hopeless condition.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God provided the solution through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again, conquering death. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone, not by our good works.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Repentance means turning away from sin and turning to God. When we genuinely repent and put our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God forgives our sins and gives us eternal life as a free gift.
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
